COVID-19 BOOKING

In accordance with new guidance issued by Larry Hogan on Monday April 20, Fringe is allowing appointments for certain essential workers who need to maintain “grooming standards” established by an employer. Fringe is committed to the health and safety of our clients and community, and is committed to all best practices to ensure each experience is as safe and stress-free as possible. Between each client, the space is sanitized with Clorox or Lysol and disinfected with Barbicide. Fresh capes are used for each client, and implements have been soaked in Barbicide or sprayed with Clippercide. We kindly ask that prior to booking each client scrolls down to read through the new "How This Works" section to keep us all safe and healthy during this time.

HOW THIS WORKS

  • All clients are asked to please wear a mask that loops around the ears.  We are working on getting disposable masks, but currently are asking that clients supply their own as supplies are scarce.
  • Currently the restrictions do not allow a waiting area. If there is a client ahead of you, your stylist will text you to wait in your car until the space has been sanitized and disinfected for you. If you do not have a car, we have a separate entrance for you, just let us know so we can make arrangements.
  • Please wash your hands upon entering the space.  We’ve installed a hands free paper towel and soap dispenser in our bathroom. Go ahead and take some complimentary hand sanitizer supplied by our buddies at Mount Royal Soap Co. as well.
  • When booking, please upload a picture of your letter from your employer stating that you are essential. This is required for all clients seeking to book an appointment at this time by order of the Governor.
  • Please be on time for your appointment. This is always an important part of having a positive salon experience, but now it’s crucial. Cleaning and disinfecting properly takes extra time and the client after you cannot wait inside the building while you’re there. Please be respectful to your stylist and the person behind you and be on time. We understand that things happen, so please give us a call with any questions or concerns.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms, please cancel your appointment. We will do whatever we can do to get you in at your desired time when you’re well again and you will not be penalized and all deposits will be returned.
  • The 50% deposit is the cost of product and labor at no profit. Currently all money earned is going towards employee relief and shop expenses (in that order.) Any amount over the 50% goes directly to that purpose, so be as generous as you are able, but don’t stress. We want the folks who are taking care of us during this difficult time to feel taken care of.
